Democrats Say Americans Can’t Be Trusted With Guns
Billionaire Former Mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg has joined the fray as a Democrat presidential hopeful and to hear him tell it he’s on a mission from God to take guns out of the hands of every law-abiding citizen he can.
According to Bloomberg, citizens can’t be trusted with guns. Of course, he says that while surrounded by a heavily armed security team.
More disturbing than his view on guns, is that Bloomberg made his denunciation of average citizens bearing arms upon hearing the news that Jack Wilson, a concealed carry permit holder, saved the lives of fellow parishoners of West Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement, Texas by taking out the shooter.
Wilson was able to respond in just six seconds after a shooter managed to kill one before he was neutralized by Wilson. Countless lives of the 242 worshipers were saved by a speedy response compared to the average of six minutes by police.
Rather than applaud Wilson, Bloomberg said at a campaign stop in Montgomery, AL, “It’s the job of law enforcement to have guns and to decide when to shoot. You just do not want the average citizen carrying a gun in a crowded place.”
Bloomberg’s dismissal of our fundamental Second Amendment rights goes beyond ignorance. It purposefully makes light of the legal action six other parishioners took in drawing their concealed firearms but chose not to fire. The former mayor conveniently failed to note armed and trained citizens in a crowded place didn’t fire their firearms.
The contrast in how Wilson and Bloomberg see themselves is telling. When approached by the media, the Texan said he simply “killed evil” and refused to be called a hero. Conversely, Bloomberg told the media his stand on gun control had earned him a place in heaven. He said in 2014:
“I am telling you if there is a God, when I get to heaven I’m not stopping to be interviewed, I am heading straight in. I have earned my place in heaven. It’s not even close.”
But Bloomberg isn’t alone in his determination to deny our Second Amendment rights. U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (Dem. – MA) seemed unfazed by the fact Wilson’s quick action saved lives. When asked at a campaign stop, “Will you support a universal conceal carry law for everyone in the country who’s willing to be licensed and checked by the government?” she quickly replied “No” as she vigorously shook her head.
Last year, Joe Biden trashed Texas Governor Greg Abbott for signing a bill that allowed lawful gun owners to carry firearms with them into their places of worship. He said at that time, “Dealing with firearms, it is irrational, with all due respect to the governor of Texas, irrational what they are doing. On the very day you see a mass shooting … and we’re talking about loosening access to have guns, to be able to take them into places of worship, it’s just absolutely irrational. It’s totally irrational.”
Sorry, Mr. Biden, the members of the West Freeway Church of Christ beg to differ. What Jack Wilson did that Sunday was far more rational than anything you or Elizabeth Warren or Mayor Bloomberg have to say.

Good Luck with that–by the way dems–you’re on a mission from Satan. You’ll get my guns when I run out of ammo.
